Milestone IT is working with this key business in Seven Hills who right now have a brilliant opportunity for a network support consultant to join their team providing network and desktop support services to their business.
Working with a large client site, you will be the go-to-personal for all issues relating to both desktop/machine builds right through to network support.
Key responsibilities:
- To maintain the Service Desk database with information in regard to all requests for service, incident history and resolution
- To provide 2nd Level operational support to users of all IT systems including immediate assistance and/or escalation to requests for assistance by staff in all locations of the APAC region
- To provide 2nd Level operational support for all hardware including workstations, printers as well as office equipment, PABX, mobile phones, Internet, Voice mail, Call Accounting, Dial Up and VPN and liaise with external suppliers as necessary for maintenance and repair of hardware/office equipment and provide inductions for new staff on equipment as necessary
- To provide backup to the Regional Network Administrator
- To provide support and administration for all users of Microsoft O365 products
- To help oversee and provide guidance to the APAC Regions 1st Line and Field Service Resources
Qualifications/experience required:
- Level 2 role, intermediate/advanced IT knowledge required
- Versatility in a broad range of Microsoft O365 software application functions and technologies
- Ability to communicate professionally within a wide range of user abilities’
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose IT based issues
- High attention to detail and continuous improvement approach to all tasks
- To be able to escalate issues when required
