Milestone IT is currently partnering with a leading healthcare organisation in Melbourne to find an experienced EMR Tester for an exciting contract role based in Melbourne’s inner suburbs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hospital-based experience to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team within the healthcare sector.
As an EMR Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functionality and integration of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Your role will involve performing comprehensive testing, identifying issues, and collaborating with various stakeholders to improve system functionality within the hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute comprehensive testing on EMR systems to ensure accuracy, reliability, and functionality
Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to identify and resolve issues
Document testing results and provide feedback for improvements
Work within a hospital setting, ensuring the EMR system supports the operational needs of healthcare professionals
Conduct system integration tests and assist in troubleshooting where needed
Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and training where necessary
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as an EMR Tester with hands-on hospital-based experience
Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems and EMR workflows
Familiarity with testing tools, methodologies, and reporting
Ability to work independently, while collaborating effectively with internal teams
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Availability to start immediately and commit to a 6 month initial contract position with extension potential
