Skills:

Leadership:

• Leading multidisciplinary teams of IT suppliers, vendors (on-shore & off-shore), outsourced environments, and internal stakeholders to deliver complex IT Programs and Projects that enable business change.
• Leading teams of network designers to deliver complex network solutions across Telstra’s Business
• Units.
• Leading, coaching and mentoring Business/Technical teams and vendors (IBM, Accenture, HP, Canon, SAP).
• Leading and influencing concurrent, multiple projects to resolve issues as they arise.

Project Management:

• Proficient in use of PM tools (e.g. Microsoft project) and techniques e.g. PMI and PMBOK framework.
• Working with project, finance and procurement teams to acquire infrastructure through RFQs
• Managing project budgets, resource allocation, scheduling, risks, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Agile, Waterfall and ITIL trained and experienced across cloud, switches, routers, racks, load- balancers, wintel, distributed computing, vmware, oracle servers, networks (cisco), database, storage, netbackup, security, monitoring, IBM Websphere, SAP.

Change Management:

• Expertise in use of change management tools to deliver project changes for achieving project benefits
• Strong business acumen, commercial awareness, IT Program, Project and Solutions experience
• Experience transitioning and delivering complex end to end infrastructure projects for enterprise-wide business applications within scope and time within budgets up to $5m.

Stakeholder Management:

• Adept at translating complex technical and commercial issues into an easy to understand way for the customer and non-technical stakeholders.
• Managing conflict in people and commercial situations in an open and collaborative manner.
• Reporting and presenting programs of projects to PMO, Project Steering committees, governance forums and Super-sessions with Senior Management.
