Milestone IT is currently working with this brilliant global business who right now have a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join a great team.
Working with a small team of IT specialists, you will be providing level 1 and 2 support to users both on and off site.
Duties will include :
- Providing Users with operational and technical support of Equipment on site
- Installing, moving, adding, and changing Equipment and related peripherals
- Verifying inventory information for on-site service equipment
- Correcting problems associated with Equipment and Software, and providing break/fix support, advice and assistance to Users
- Coordinating efforts with third party services and maintenance providers as necessary to keep Equipment and Software in good working order
- Performing proactive and reactive troubleshooting to identify potential problems, and attempting to eliminate problems before they occur.
- Providing support to users to connect to LAN, WAN, Printers etc. on site
- Detailed knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Suite
- Detailed knowledge and experience of Windows 7 and 10 Operating Systems
This position is set to commence on the 19th of December for an initial duration of 6 months with extensions and/or a permanent position expected.
