Milestone IT have an exciting opportunity to join a leading organisation where you will work as part of a friendly and collaborative team in a customer facing role for a 6 month period.
Skills
- Exceptional verbal/written communication and technical documentation skills
- Customer focused with great rapport building skills
- Experience in fault resolution of IT hardware and software issues including Servers, Switches, PC’s, printers, Printer Servers; Microsoft operating systems and a variety of desktop applications
- Understanding of TCP/IP based networking protocols
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supporting Windows 7
- Experience with Active Directory and MS Exchange
- Physically able to carry and move general computer equipment within WH&S limits
Responsibilities
- Provide second level support for calls.
- Install, configure and maintain network devices including but not restricted to PCs, Printers, Print Servers, Terminal Servers, Switches and application software.
Desirable
- An understanding of Group Policy, understanding of VLAN’s and exposure to Virtual Server Environments would be viewed favourably.
An open drivers license and vehicle are required for this role, mileage costs will be reimbursed although little travel is required and most work will be based in Southbank.
