A global giant is seeking a Level 1/2 Applications Support Consultant for a long term contract position in Melbourne.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to incidents as and when they arise
- Log issues, conduct analysis and gather relevant information
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents/issues
- Recommend resolutions problems
- Escalate issues as necessary to Application Experts or Level 3
- Provide exceptional customer service inclusive of excellent communications, responsive follow through, and advocacy for customer issues within internal departments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience in technical (applications) support - in a level 1/2 environment
- DBA Support experience
- Experience in troubleshooting & resolving technical inquiries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification - Information Technology
- SQL experience is a MUST
