Milestone IT is working with this world leader based in Southnank who are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to assist with their project office. Responsible for ensuring reconciliation, costs, and budgeting, you will be working with one of the best project managers in Victoria.
About the role
The position will be for 5 days/week working 4 hours per day, and includes end-to-end bookkeeping tasks:
- Provide clear and concise written and ‘data heavy’ reports on program delivery milestones and identify and assess any risks associated with the program.
- Engage with stakeholders and proponents to record the funding and spending of projects.
- Updating spreadsheets and general project cost information.
Skills and experience
- MUST be proficient in Excel
- Proactive, able to work without supervision, resourceful and show initiative
- Strong organisational skills, can manage multiple things at once
- Strong attention to detail
- Efficient communicator – written and verbal
- Honesty, reliability
- 2+ years experience bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a small business
- Must have experience in an accounting solution such as Myob.
