A position is available for immediate start to a self motivated, enthusiastic and professional IT Support Technician with 3+ years experience in an IT support role. The role will involve providing onsite desk-side, remote and helpdesk support services to more than 1,000 users throughout this fantastic organisation.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing telephone, remote and onsite client support
- Managing, monitoring and updating support tickets
- Troubleshooting, diagnosis and rectification of customer faults
- Repair, upgrade and installation of various hardware and software
- Setup and support of Windows, Android and Apple mobile devices
- Creating and maintaining customer system documentation
- Participation in occasional 'out of hours' support tasks
- Providing AD and Citrix support.
About you
You will be self motivated and well presented, with a passion for the IT industry and a genuine interest in enhancing your skills and abilities. Minimum 1 - 2 years experience supporting Windows based network environments is essential.
Essentials:
- Excellent oral and written English language skills are essential
- A current drivers license and your own transport
- Experience supporting Microsoft desktop operating systems in an Active Directory environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work proactively and independently
- Excellent time management and problem solving skills with proven troubleshooting abilities
- Present a professional appearance and attitude while providing our clients an excellent customer service experience
- Meticulous attention to detail and be passionate about providing our clients an outstanding customer service experience
Beneficial:
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or similar
- Experience supporting Apple, Android, and Microsoft mobile devices
- Experience providing support in a business network environment including various network equipment and peripherals, Office 365, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange
- Experience supporting VoIP, Audio Visual and Video Conferencing technnologies
- Experience providing VIP support
- Experience with or exposure to Virtualisation technologies
- Willingness and ability to occasionally work flexible hours
