This Business Analyst will be working on a range of projects and delivering business analysis services to support the successful implementation of various projects within Business Systems and Asset Management Programs.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of analysis on both projects ranging from the gathering and definition of requirements through to verifying results of user acceptance testing.
Required Knowledge, Competencies and Experience
Significant experience in supporting the successful performance and development of a range of highly skilled permanent and contract staff;
Solid experience working in projects utilising a PMBoK, Agile or Prince2 based methodology and a thorough understanding of Information Technology and its application to business;
A thorough understanding of project management principles and the systems development lifecycle and proven ability to deliver quality business outcomes.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including active listening, negotiation and influencing, facilitation of meetings and workshops, and customer relationship management;
A high level of competency in using standard Microsoft Office applications (such as Word, Excel and Visio) to produce documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience working an an Agile environment.
A tertiary qualification in business, technology or management related areas
Experience working in a Government type organisation.
