Our client, a large healthcare organisation is seeking a Change Manager for an initial 3 months contract.
In general the Change Manager will be required to:
- Influence key stakeholders and establish a positive change culture within the organisation
- Increase the organisational capacity for change over time
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all project stakeholders
Specifically, the Change Manager will be required to:
- Review, implement and monitor the Project Change Management Plan
- Review, implement and monitor the Project Stakeholder engagement and Communications Plan
- Review, implement and monitor the Project Benefits Realisation Plan
- Review, implement and monitor the Project Training Plan
- Identify and manage the clinical impacts on the organisation and develop appropriate change management strategies
- Identify benefits and implement strategies to ensure these benefits are measured and can be realised
- Ensure configuration and change activities deliver agreed outputs, on schedule and to an acceptable quality
- Identify and manage training and education opportunities relating to the projects
- Identify and manage methods for stakeholders to communicate effectively with the Projects
- Trouble shoot where difficulty arises and escalate issues as appropriate
The Change Manager will have strong communications and change management skills. They will work closely with and report to the Specialist Clinics Project Manager and establish close working relationships with:
- Specialist Clinics
- Clinical Informatics Unit
- Change Managers from other lead agencies
- Executives
- Senior Clinical Staff
- Operation Managers of relevant departments
- Clinical End Users
Essential for Performance in the Position
- Previous Change Management role within a healthcare setting.
- Proven ability to influence and manage change in a major transformation project.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) including the development of communications materials as part of the change management approach
- Initiative, drive and focus on project benefits.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and competency with MS Project.
- Personal maturity and experience in dealing effectively with competing priorities.
- Ability to understand and navigate the conflicting needs of different groups.
- Strong customer focus.
