The Agile Lead will be responsible for planning, leading, organising, and motivating agile project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering agile projects that deliver better customer outcomes, higher effectiveness and lower cost across the organisation.
In addition to this, the role will focus on developing the capability of staff to apply agile delivery methodologies at all levels of the organisation. The Agile Lead may be responsible for managing several concurrent high visibility projects using agile methods in a fast-paced environment that may cross multiple business divisions.
Capability UpliftLead, mentor, coach and support multiple Agile project teams on the effective application of Agile.
Identify opportunities for team improvement around Agile adoption and help teams improve their practices.
Identify and execute best practices to increase delivery, transparency and quality
Project DeliveryDefine project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value.
Leading a cross functional project team in using agile methodologies.
Organise working meetings including the management of risks and issues; correct deviations from plans.
Track and monitor the movement of projects and effectively communicate the status to stakeholders within the business.
Knowledge/experience/qualificationsSolid understanding of and demonstrated experience in Agile project delivery including understanding of Scaled Agile Framework and Agile project management tools.
Proven ability to perform in various agile roles where needed.
Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
Demonstrated skills in group facilitation and coordination
